What does the detox consist of?

This is a very gentle but powerful detox. You will not be doing a ‘fast’ as some detox centres do, but will be having lots of raw and vegan food plus lots of smoothies, so you will not go hungry. 

Will I lose weight?

Most people do, but it does depend on what you eat and drink outside of the event.

How many people will be on the retreat?

There are a maximum of 10 people on a retreat so it is very intimate.

What treatments do you provide?

Optional treatments inlcude Massage Therapy, Infrared Therapy, Inversion Therapy, Cryotherapy, Reflexology, Reiki Healing and Art Therapy.

What is there to do apart from the yoga and treatments available – ie what do you do in your spare time?

Yes, there will be breaks during the event for you to chill out. We have lots of lovely nature walks near by.

I have dietary requirements: can you cater for me?

Our lovely chef can accommodate all dietary needs. Please just make sure you let us know beforehand of any dietary requirements you have.

Do I need my own yoga mat?

Please feel free to bring your own yoga mat. We also have additional mats and other yoga equipment available.

I’m coming alone but I’m happy to share a room, can you organise this?

Yes, we can organise a suitable room mate.

Is there a single room supplement?

Yes, it is £300.

How do I pay?

By credit card, Paypal, or Bank Transfer.

What are the arrival and departure times?

Arrival time is 10am on the Sunday morning for an 11am start.

I went to a health farm once and it was very strict in terms of food and exercise. Will the retreat be like this?

Not at all. We want you to get the most out of the retreat so please feel free to make it your own and go at a pace which feels right for you.

Can I bring my dog with me?

While our cottages are dog friendly – we would need to agree this in advance and make sure the other delegates are happy with dogs.

Am I going to be starving hungry all the time and dreaming about food?

No! You will be full all of the time! There will be food, snacks or smooties every 2 hours!

What is the cost of the Retreat or holiday?

Are there any additional costs?

Depending on which package you choose – you may want to pay for extra treatments or consultations.

I haven’t done much yoga before, can I come?

Yes! Our yoga teacher is awesome and is suitable for all levels.

I am quite an experienced yogi, would I enjoy your retreats?

Yes! Our yoga teacher will give you additional poses in each class.

Do I have to take part in all activities?

No, you join in with which ever you feel you want to.

Do I need Travel Insurance?

We would recommend checking your credit cards for any travel insurance to cover you if you have to cancel at the last minute or if you require medical treatment. However, our retreat is tailored to all levels so you should be safe and well.

Can I chat to somebody to discuss which retreat is most suitable for me?

Will my room be quiet?

Yes, we are in the middle of a sleepy village.

Do I have to share a bathroom?

If you have paid the single room supplement, then the bathroom is all yours.

Can I drink alcohol?

While there is a country pub opposite the retreat, we recommend that you abstain from alcohol for the 4 days (after all it is only 4 days!)

Which clothing do I need to bring?

Jumper, jeans, sleep wear, t-shirts, walking boots, raincoat, sunglasses, swimming costume.

What else do I need to bring?

Any medications, a sense of humour, and a positive open mind!

Can I come for just part of the retreat?

No, to get the most of out the retreat, and to respect the others you need to be there for the 4 days.

Allergies and sensitivities

Please make our reservations team know of any sensitivities when booking.

How can I arrange transport from the station?

There are taxis outside the station. Any problems – please call the reservations team.
